La Coalition nationale contre le tabac de contrebande est une organisation qui se consacre à la lutte contre la prolifération des cigarettes illégales au Canada.
La Coalition, fondée par l'Association canadienne des dépanneurs en alimentation, est constituée d'un vaste éventail de personnes et d'entreprises déterminées à lutter contre ce problème grandissant. Les cigarettes qui sont introduites en fraude au Canada en nombre sans précédent représentent le tiers des achats de cigarettes. Les contrebandiers inondent nos collectivités de cigarettes à bas prix, non réglementées, qui circulent librement parmi les jeunes. Il est temps que les Canadiens et Canadiennes prennent position et mettent fin à cette prolifération.

Rosser Raid Just the Tip of the Iceberg
Today, the National Coalition Against Contraband Tobacco (NCACT) commended the RCMP and members of the provincial government’s taxation investigations unit for the execution of the raid that took place yesterday in Rosser. The fact that several loaded handguns were found alongside the nearly 1.5 million contraband cigarettes illustrates the seriousness of the link between illegal cigarettes and violent crime.
